Alpha Technical Group, Inc. (ATGI) serves the petroleum, chemical, and process industries with engineering, design, integration, and construction services in the United States and around the world.

ATGI is a responsive, Portland-based firm providing high quality engineering and construction services with special focus on process design and control. Our design capabilities include process piping, electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation and control systems. Projects often involve software development/programming for plant computers and programmable controllers in process plant controls.  We provide project and construction management and support, as well as system start-up, testing and training. Through relationships with several construction firms, we offer turnkey design and build services for a wide range of projects.

The principals of ATGI have many years of both domestic and international experience in industrial facility projects. This includes the engineering, design, integration, project management and construction of refineries, pump stations, pipelines, chemical process plants, terminals, dock facilities, and hazardous waste facilities.
